Koroyanitu National Heritage Park - Viti Levu, Fiji


Koroyanitu National Heritage Park in the premier hiking venue in Fiji. Featuring ancient hiking trails studded with refreshing water holes, small villages, panoramic viewpoints and challenging climbs. Mount Batilamu is the primary peak in the park.  At the foot of Mt Koroyanitu there are native forests and grassy pastures full of exotic birds, important archaeological sites and beautiful waterfalls.

Six small villages are located within the park borders. The community members are involved in an eco-tourism project where they maintain the trails, facilities and lodging.

To summit Mount Batilamu, locate the trail head at Nase Lodge. Once on the top of the mountain visitors will enjoy scenic views of the Mamanucas and Yasawas Islands. Plan at least six hours to hike in and out.
